About Physie
“Physie” as it is commonly known, is a unique competitive sport for girls and ladies aged 3 years and above. It combines marching with choreographed exercise and dance routines performed to modern music. It is a fun way to develop good posture, strength, fitness, flexibility and coordination while forming great friendships on the way.
All club members are taught a new syllabus of routines each year in their age specific categories. These routines are judged in both individual and team competitions towards the latter part of the year and although these are not compulsory, they help foster a sense of belonging and loyalty to the club. State Grand Finals for each age group are held in November of each year, the winner of each age group being named – Champion Girl.
